SDL - Iijima Yayoi

Background Info:
Born the first son of the head of the Yayoi Clan, Iijima was brought up by his father, Yayoi Tamotsu, to be his successor and leader of their clan.

Being their father’s favorite, he was the envy of all four of his brothers. Iijima, however, was never as interested as they were in inheriting their fathers power. He was more interested in simpler pleasures like watching kabuki, poetry, delicious food and most oddly- men.

From a young age, Iijima knew he was not interested in women (and would have in fact, preferred to be one himself).

He had kept that information to himself, but confided in his cousin Yasuo. His brothers later on discovered this as well, but had no proof to pin on him. They knew something like this was not going to sit well with their father, and did everything in their power to expose him.

But despite all their efforts, it was not they who had succeeded in outing him to his father, but Iijima himself. Iijima's lover at the time had asked him to run away with him, and the love-stuck youth agreed whole heartedly. He left his home, taking with him money and fled with his lover.

They seemed happy for a while, until he found out that his lover had cheated on him for a woman. Blinded with rage, he killed his lover and the woman. Wanting to start life again, he changed his personality- and not to mention appearance- completely, and became an okama. (What a happy ending. :'D)

She still keep in touch with his cousin Yasou who now helps her allude his enraged father, but otherwise, Yayoi has cut off all ties with her past life.

Age: 24
Height: 5"5
Weaponry & Fighting style: Yayoi e is formally trained in different types of martial arts including jujutsu, iaijutsu and kenjutsu as well as a few Chinese styles like Choy Gar, Daun Quan and Sanshou- however, despite her prolific knowledge of techniques, she does not practice any of these often and prefers to evade and strike an opponent down with the least possible contact.

If she is to use a weapon, she would most likely make use of small objects, like her hair ornaments.

Personality: As Yayoi, she's poised, elegant, and not to mention one sassy miss. She's flamboyant and outgoing, but not to the point of being annoying- most of the time.

Despite also being sarcastic and bossy at times, Yayoi is extremely friendly and sociable- in fact, she'll like you even if you don't like her (just to annoy you! x'D) Just never mention the biwa around her-- the woman her old lover cheated on her for was a biwa musician.

She can get a little too attached to things and is admittedly a materialistic person. She's always on the go and always has plans- whether it be for lunch, where to sleep- or even with whom to sleep with.

That isn't to say she's a slut- no, she can just never seem to keep a lover for too long. ;'

Ah! My beloved Okama-kun! x'3 Okay, I think, as of now, I can confidently say she is the first FULL-TIME okama in the SDL. x'3 -crosses fingers-

If you think Yayoi reminds you of Miyabi from the Manga 'MADNESS'.. . . you've just spotted my inspiration for okama-kun (aside from Someya-kun)! xD Except, you know, He's not the former lover of a murderous lunatic- oh and, Miyabi's a girl fer realz and she isn't. x'3
